Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and [Company legal name] ("we", "us") for your use of AloNE (the "service"). By using the service, you agree to them.
1. What AloNE is
AloNE is an AI conversation practice app. Every character is an artificial intelligence, not a real person. Characters and their portraits are fictional. AloNE is not a dating service, a therapy or counseling service, or a way to contact or meet anyone.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 20 years old to use AloNE. By using it, you confirm that you are.
3. Your account
When you start, we create an account tied to your device. You can optionally save it with an email address and password so you can sign in elsewhere. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile.
4. AI responses
- Characters' replies are generated automatically. They can be wrong, incomplete, or inappropriate despite our safeguards. Don't rely on them for important decisions.
- Nothing a character says is medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice, even if the character has a related job in their story.
- AloNE is not an emergency service. If you're in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact local emergency services or a crisis line right away.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use AloNE to:
- Send or request sexual content, or steer characters toward it;
- Harass, threaten, or demean others, or post hateful content;
- Plan or request anything illegal, or content that exploits or endangers anyone, especially minors;
- Try to get characters to reveal or invent identifying or contact details, or to arrange meetings;
- Share other people's private information;
- Bypass our safety systems, scrape the service, or interfere with how it runs;
- Resell or commercially exploit the service without our written permission.
Our systems automatically block messages that break these rules, including sexual content, and keep a record of the kind of rule that was triggered. Repeated or serious violations can lead to restrictions or suspension of your account.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of what you write. You give us permission to store and process it to run the service: generating replies, keeping your conversation history and memories, keeping AloNE safe, and fixing problems. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
7. Subscriptions and payment
- AloNE has a free plan with a daily message allowance and a paid Pro plan, described on the pricing page.
- Pro renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. Payments are processed by our payment provider acting as merchant of record, and its terms also apply to your purchase.
- If you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the current period. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
- We may change prices with advance notice. A change applies from your next billing period after the notice.
8. Suspension and ending
You can stop using AloNE and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others or the service at risk. Where reasonable, we'll tell you why.
9. Changes to the service and these terms
We may improve, change, or retire features, including characters. If we make material changes to these terms, we'll give notice in the app before they take effect. If you keep using AloNE afterward, the new terms apply.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, AloNE is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], except where your local consumer law gives you additional protection.
